Document Viewer Add-in Support Page

Installation and Troubleshooting

1. Installation Via AppSource

1. Open Microsoft Excel (Web or Desktop).
2. On the Home tab, click Add-ins.
3. In the dialog that appears, search for "AutoFetchAI - Document Viewer".
4. Click Add, then continue.
5. You’ll see the Show Document Viewer button appear on the Home tab.

‍Note: You only need to install this once per Microsoft 365 account. After that, it will be available automatically on any device (Windows, Mac, or Web) where you sign in with that same account.

2. Troubleshooting

Restart Excel:
Fully close all Excel windows and reopen your workbook if the button doesn’t show.

‍
‍Ensure Internet Access:
The add-in loads from the web—make sure you’re online and not behind a firewall that blocks https://kind-grass-0e72ccf00.6.azurestaticapps.net.

‍
‍Clear Excel Cache (if required):

1. Close Microsoft Excel.
‍
2. Delete everything under:
‍
shell

‍%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\WEF\Cache

3.Reopen Excel and your file.

‍
‍Pop-up / WebView2:
If you see a blank document viewer task pane, ensure that embedded browser windows aren’t being blocked on your machine.

3. FAQs and Contacting Us

Q: I don’t see the “Show Document Viewer” button.
A: Make sure you’ve installed via AppSource or the Web upload. If it still doesn’t appear, restart Microsoft Excel.
